Accident Update
Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 12:58PM As you probably know Chris had a pretty big crash on Wednesday and as a result is in a few more pieces than he should be.
He wanted to put out a message of thanks to the emergency services who helped him out on the day. Special thanks to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service http://www.yorkshireairambulance.org.uk/ who attended the scene and made sure everthing ran smoothly. Also to the Calder Valley Fell Rescue (http://www.cvsrt.org.uk/) whose 18 members did a fantastic job of getting Chris safely to the ambulance. Thanks also to the Paramedic staff and the team at Airedale Hospital who operated on Chris' leg and wrist, furthermore to the nursing staff who now have to put up with him!

It looks like Chris is going to be in hospital until late next week and may then be able to get home and start to take the next steps in the recovery process.
